Local Produce

To try and keep things local and sustainable we are now able to offer (when available) our own local produce including farm produced lamb, beef and pork. Our beasts are raised long and slow and have a natural diet, enjoying all the delights our upland meadows can offer. Please contact us for further information.

A new venture for us has been to convert some of our lamb fleeces (the lambs being clipped when they are 6 months old for the softest fleece) into knitting wool. We currently have a  blend of Gotland and Blue Face Leicester wool in aran weight. The cost is £8.00 for 50 grams. Also on offer is a Gotland/Teeswater  lambs wool as double knitting.  this is in 100g hanks and sell at £16 each.  We offer the yarn on it's own, or made up into kits. The kits available are a Beanie, a cowl or a cushion kit.
